Welcome to the Peace Corps' Sexual and Reproductive Health (SRH) Toolkit.

Achieving universal access to reproductive health has been added to the Millennium Development Goal (MDG) 5 because world leaders recognized that increased attention to sexual and reproductive health is a prerequisite for achieving MDG 5 on improving maternal health, and also contributes significantly to reducing poverty and hunger (MDG 1), promoting gender equality and empowerment of women (MDG 3) and combating HIV and other diseases (MDG 6).

We welcome and encourage use of the toolkit by Peace Corps Volunteers and staff globally.  We have designed this toolkit so we can share technical resources developed by expert organizations as well as Peace Corps developed materials  across Peace Corps Posts. For resources published by Peace Corps and our health partners, choose from category tabs across the top of the page:

These resources provide guidance, including case studies on how to design programs for youth in community settings, reach young people with life skills and quality services, and assist youth to build peer networks.

These materials provide technical information on a wide variety of family planning (FP) methods and services. It also includes specific case studies and program experience.

These resources include guidance to increase male involvement
programming within health and HIV/AIDs projects; particularly FP and RH. They include curriculums, manuals, reports, and a needs assessment.
